What the posting says
MIRA | Firmware Engineer | San Francisco, CA | ONSITE | Full-time
MIRA builds lightweight AI glasses that act as a second brain: they remember conversations, answer questions in under a second, translate 60+ languages, and surface useful context through a private display. We recently sold out and shipped our first batch, and have raised $6.4M from General Catalyst, Naval Ravikant, Pillar VC, and others.
We're hiring a firmware engineer to work close to the hardware across C/C++ or Rust, RTOS, BLE, embedded Linux, microcontrollers, sensors and audio pipelines, power optimization, device communication, and low-level debugging. We're looking for 3+ years of software or firmware engineering experience and a track record of shipping complex technical products end-to-end. Consumer hardware and early-stage startup experience are strong pluses.
This is a full-time, in-person role in San Francisco. We can't provide current or future U.S. visa sponsorship.
