Perry Street Software | Senior Mobile Developer (iOS) | https://www.perrystreet.com/careers | Remote (North America / LatAm) | Full-Time

Perry Street Software publishes Jack'd and SCRUFF, two of the world's largest LGBTQ+ dating apps on iOS and Android. Our brands reach more than 30 million members worldwide, so members can connect, meet and express themselves on a platform that prioritizes privacy, security, and community. Our company puts user privacy first, and doesn't sell data or use third-party ad networks.

As a Senior Mobile Developer, you will help us build the user-facing pieces of the next generation of Scruff and Jack’d. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about architecture and excited to become polyglot in their understanding of Swift, Kotlin, and backend framework languages. We are a small, nimble company, so the ability to make an impact is significant. The position is 40 hours per week and ongoing/full-time.

What you'll do:

- Clean architecture using dependency injection (Koin/Swinject), modules, and functional & reactive programming (RxJava/Combine) - Modern UIs with a live style guide and Jetpack Compose/SwiftUI - Test and behavior-driven development, starting with the ViewModel layer (see our blogs), using Quick/Nimble, KoTest, Konsist, and CombineExpectations. - We are pioneers of architectural linters (we are the #1 consumer of Konsist and introduced Harmonize for iOS). This enables us to apply architectural principles across a global, distributed team - Develop production-ready code serving millions of users right away - You can see more about our architectural approach on our Engineering blog at https://medium.com/perry-street-software-engineering or learn more about us at https://www.perrystreet.com/careers
