What the posting says

Splash Tech | DevOps Mid/Senior | Remote (LATAM and EU) | Full Time | https://splash.tech/

We're a small UK-based free-to-play gaming company with a distributed team, growing fast after recent success and scaling our backend platform. We’re looking for a DevOps engineer with 5+ years of experience.

Most of the work is AWS-focused. You should have hands-on experience with:

- AWS, particularly EKS, EC2, Application Load Balancers, RDS, and IAM. - Terraform and managing infrastructure as code. - Kubernetes, including troubleshooting workloads and cluster issues. - CI/CD and GitOps workflows using GitHub Actions and Flux. - Monitoring, alerting, and tracing with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager, Jaeger, and OpenTelemetry. - DNS, TLS, and Cloudflare.

Strong AWS networking knowledge, including VPC design, routing, private connectivity, and troubleshooting is highly desirable.

Our stack includes AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), PostgreSQL, Trino, Flux, Terraform, and GitHub Actions. You don’t need to know every tool already, but you should be comfortable learning what the job requires.

You should be comfortable owning work from identifying a problem and proposing a solution through implementation, rollout, documentation, and ongoing operation.

You should be comfortable investigating issues across applications, Kubernetes, networking, and databases. We also value clear thinking and communication: you should be able to explain your ideas and trade-offs using simple architecture or flow diagrams—just boxes and lines, nothing formal.

To apply, email lucas[at]splash.tech with the subject “DevOps Engineer 2026”. Include a brief introduction and a link to a repository or project that demonstrates your infrastructure or automation work. If you don’t have work you can share, we may ask you to complete a small practical test.
