What the posting says

Sortrace | Computer Vision Engineer, Junior Frontend Engineer | REMOTE (Europe), hybrid Norrköping or Stockholm | Full-time | https://sortrace.com

Sortrace is a small cleantech AI company in Sweden. Cameras on waste collection trucks and trained vision models flag material in the wrong fraction when bins are emptied. Customers use our platform to review deviations, images, and insights.

We're hiring for two roles on a small team with short decision paths.

Computer Vision Engineer - Train, evaluate, and improve deep learning models for real-world image analysis on our existing platform (datasets, augmentation, architecture experiments, precision/robustness/performance). - Python; PyTorch or TensorFlow. ~3+ years hands-on CV/model work, or equivalent documented experience (professional, OSS, or serious personal projects). We care about what you've built, not only job titles. - Plus: edge inference, quantization, real-time video.

Junior Frontend Engineer - Build and improve the customer-facing web platform: TypeScript, React, Tailwind, Radix/shadcn-style components, Git. - Early career is fine—show something you've built (side project, school, first job) and how you made it. - We use coding agents (Cursor, Claude, etc.) heavily in day-to-day work; you should be comfortable adopting that workflow.

Compensation: monthly salary by agreement; equity/options possible.

Apply: [email protected] or https://sortrace.com/careers, subject line with the role name. CV role: short note on CV experience + links to projects/GitHub. Frontend role: what you built, how, and a link or demo if you have one. Questions welcome; we reply to applicants.
