What the posting says
ORFF Maestra | Prototype Developer; Technical Product Lead | REMOTE (US only) | Contract, part-time | https://orffmaestra.com
We're preparing a U.S. Department of Education SBIR Phase IA proposal to build an assessment reasoning platform for school speech-language pathologists. It implements TTL-MSM, a fully specified decision framework for one of the hardest calls in school eligibility evaluations: whether a student's communication profile reflects a disorder or a difference. Clinicians code each source of evidence, and a fixed rule combines them. The rules are written; the software isn't. The research lead is at Baylor University.
Prototype Developer ($70–95/hr): build a browser-based web app from a written spec, with privacy designed in from the start so it's ready for FERPA-protected student data later. About 15–20 hrs/week for nine months if funded.
Technical Product Lead ($75–100/hr): the bridge between the clinical spec and the engineering. Scope the prototype, turn the spec into requirements, and keep the build on schedule. About 5–8 hrs/week for nine months if funded.
Pre-award scoping (10–15 hrs for the developer, 5–10 for the lead) is unpaid, and funded work is contingent on award. U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
Apply (structured application, about 30 minutes; replies within five business days):
