What the posting says

About Serova

Serova builds personalized cancer vaccines. Each vaccine is made for the individual patient from their own samples and given in partnership with their treating physician. We're a small, fast-moving team across London and San Francisco, and as we grow there's more to keep running every day.

The role

As we scale, we need someone to help run day-to-day operations and keep the company running. This is ideal for an early-career person or recent graduate with high agency who wants to help build a biotechnology company in a fast-moving team.

Who you are

A sharp, organized generalist who picks up and keeps track of the things that fall between teams

You spot a broken process and fix it, choosing simple over complex

You work fast, unsupervised and take ownership

Friendly and low ego. Biology knowledge helpful but not required.

Requirements

You own tasks of any size, and ask questions early rather than guessing

Based in London, or willing to relocate

Authorized to work in the UK, or a realistic path to get there

What will make you stand out

You've been the "everything else" person at a Seed to Series B company, or in a similar team for a meaningful stretch

You've set up tools, trackers or automations that others rely on, e.g. in Linear, Notion, scripts or AI

Evidence of interest in biotechnology or a regulated industry

You're organized and diligent and don't miss the details

Exceptional written and verbal communication: clear, concise and correct the first time
