What the posting says
Datadog is seeking a Partner Marketing Manager, India to build and lead our go-to-market strategy with key partners across the India region. In this role, you will be the primary marketing driver for our channel and cloud partner ecosystem in India, working closely with the APJ partner marketing team and Channels & Alliances sales to design a prescriptive, regionally-tailored partner strategy that accelerates pipeline and revenue growth.
You will join a growing APJ partner marketing organization — currently made up of an APJ lead based in Singapore and individual contributor managers covering ANZ, ASEAN, Korea, and Tokyo — and play a critical role in scaling Datadog's presence in one of our most strategic growth markets.
At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.
What You'll Do:
Own and develop a go-to-market strategy with Datadog's key channel and cloud partners across India, tailored to the region's partner ecosystem and business priorities
Collaborate closely with the APJ lead, the broader APJ marketing team, and the global partner marketing team to align India's strategy with regional and global priorities
Partner with Channels & Alliances sales to identify the highest-impact partners and design joint marketing programs that drive pipeline generation and net-new customer acquisition
Plan, execute, and measure integrated partner campaigns and marketing activities, including MDF-funded programs, events, and co-marketing initiatives
Build strong stakeholder relationships across sales, partner, and marketing teams, creating channels for bi-directional feedback that shapes ongoing strategy, programs, and campaigns
Communicate strategy, results, and recommendations clearly to both internal stakeholders and external partners
Track and report on the performance of partner marketing programs, using data and insights to continuously refine the regional approach
Stay close to the India (and broader ROA) partner landscape, bringing market knowledge back into strategy and planning discussions
Who You Are:
5-6 years of partner marketing experience, or experience working closely with partners in a field marketing capacity
Proven track record of driving strategy and executing regional partner campaigns with measurable results
Strong communicator, able to clearly convey strategy, results, and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders
Experience working across cross-functional and cross-regional teams, with the ability to ensure alignment and drive shared outcomes
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build environments for open, bi-directional feedback
Intellectually curious, with genuine excitement for building and shaping partner marketing strategy
Good understanding of the India regional partner ecosystem; familiarity with the broader Rest of Asia (ROA) market is a plus
Experience working at a cloud partner (AWS, GCP, Azure) or a leading channel partner is a plus
Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you're passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.
