Partner Technical Advisor

What is The Role

The Partner Technical Advisor is responsible for developing, managing and executing the Partner Capabilities program for Elastic's partner ecosystem. This role combines technical expertise, partner strategy, and program execution to ensure partners can independently deliver, integrate, implement, and expand Elastic solutions for Elastic’s customers.

You serve as the technical architect for partner capability development, working across Sales, Partner Engineering/SA, Product, Professional Services, and Enablement to identify capability gaps/opportunities and build scalable programs that accelerate partner maturity and customer success.

Rather than supporting individual sales opportunities, you focus on activating and enabling partners to run their Elastic practices without issues across their customer portfolio.

What You Will Be Doing

Partner Strategy

Own the technical capability strategy for the partner ecosystem and strategic partners.

Identify capability gaps aligned to sales priorities and market opportunities.

Build multi-quarter partner capability roadmaps that align with Elastic's GTM strategy.

Develop partner maturity models and success metrics.

Technical Capability Development

Design and build repeatable technical enablement programs to use at scale.

Develop reference architectures, deployment patterns, and implementation guides.

Create integrations that increase partner adoption of Elastic solutions.

Build reusable technical assets that accelerate partner delivery.

Collaborate with Product to influence partner-focused capabilities.

Partner Services Development

Build partner implementation and consulting capabilities.

Develop packaged services and repeatable delivery methodologies.

Create partner service offerings for Search AI, Observability, Security, and Generative AI.

Help partners establish technical Centers of Excellence.

Enablement & Execution

Deliver technical workshops and architecture sessions.

Mentor partner architects and technical leadership.

Drive technical certifications and competency attainment.

Create scalable technical content that can be reused globally.

What You Bring

5+ years in enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity.

Experience building partner ecosystems and selling through the channel.

Experience designing enterprise architectures.

Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes.

Experience working with Systems Integrators, MSPs, MSSPs, or strategic partners.

Strong understanding of enterprise integrations and APIs.

Ability to translate business strategy into scalable technical programs.

Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Bonus Points

Experience with Elasticsearch and the Elastic platform.

Experience creating technical enablement at scale.

Background in Professional Services, Solution Architecture, or Partner Engineering.

Experience with AI, Observability, Security, or Search technologies.
