What the posting says

At Ripple, we’re building a world where value moves like information does today. It’s big, it’s bold, and we’re already doing it. Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers, we are improving the global financial system and creating greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people, in more places around the world. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs.

If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value.

THE WORK:

As the Regional Security Manager covering Ripples operations across MENA & APAC you will provide accurate, timely, in-region support across two of our most dynamic and fastest-growing regions. Driving local relationships, improving responsiveness to incidents, and giving employees across the region a locally-informed safety resource they can turn to directly.

Working to Ripples Head of Global Corporate Security (GCS) your core responsibility will be to establish Ripples GCS Team as an established regional function. You will be required to go beyond monitoring and reporting by:

Building Regional Presence: Establish and lead in-region security operations covering our growing office footprint, travel risk management, vendor performance, and incident response across MENA and APAC.

Driving Local Responsiveness: Provide employees with direct access to a regionally aligned security resource, improving incident response speed and the effectiveness of localized communication.

Ensuring Compliance and Readiness: Maintain consistent regulatory compliance, drive faster adaptation to local regulatory change, and strengthen audit readiness across all in-region operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Serve as the primary in-region point of contact for security matters across MENA and APAC, advising regional leadership, HR, Legal, and Workplace teams on security posture and risk.

Own and continuously develop the regional security strategy, including travel risk management, incident response protocols, and office security standards across the footprint.

Lead and manage vendor relationships across the region, measuring the performance of third-party contractors, guarding providers, and security service partners to ensure consistent delivery.

Build and maintain local relationships with authorities, industry peers, and intelligence sources to strengthen situational awareness and early-warning capability.

Lead regional incident response, ensuring rapid, locally-informed decision-making and escalation.

Support regulatory compliance and audit readiness across all in-region operations, ensuring consistent application of Ripple's global security standards.

Establish security groundwork — relationships, risk intelligence, and vendor networks — ahead of Ripple's expansion into new markets including Pakistan and Nigeria.

Provide expert in-region support during office build-outs, security system rollouts, and any regional project requiring local coordination and progress reporting.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Expert knowledge demonstrated by at least 5+ years' experience with increasing responsibility in corporate/physical security roles covering the MENA and/or APAC region.

Strong existing network of regional contacts across law enforcement, government liaison, intelligence, and vendor communities.

Experience managing incident response, travel risk, and vendor relationships with successful, on-time delivery.

High level of integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential and sensitive matters with sound judgment and maturity.

Tenacity and the ability to build a regional function from the ground up are essential.

Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy across time zones, with strong communication and escalation discipline back to global GCS leadership.
