What's in Store
We are on the lookout for a Premium Auditor to join our team. As the Premium Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting insurance premium audits to determine accurate premium exposure based on policyholder operations.
Audits may be conducted via phone, virtual platforms, or other remote methods depending on client program and operational needs. This role evaluates financial documentation, payroll records, and operational data to ensure policyholder premiums are calculated in accordance with regulatory requirements and client-specific guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct premium audits via phone or virtual platforms
Review payroll records, financial statements, and business documentation
Verify classification codes and exposure data
Identify discrepancies between reported and actual operations
Contact policyholders via phone or email to collect audit documentation
Prepare audit reports in accordance with company guidelines
Maintain accurate documentation within audit systems
Collaborate with Premium Audit Coordinators to support audit readiness
Communicate findings to policyholders and internal stakeholders
Meet production and quality standards
Adhere to regulatory and client-specific audit requirements
Skills, knowledge & expertise
Experience in premium audit, insurance operations, or accounting preferred
Knowledge of payroll and financial documentation
Strong analytical and documentation review skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple audit assignments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related audit systems
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
