Job Title: Product Manager, Inspection Software
Location: United States
Workplace Type: Remote
Job Summary
The future is bright for the Porch Group, and we'd love for you to be a part of it as our Product Manager, Inspection Software.
Porch is seeking a hands-on Product Manager to drive execution across our Inspection Software business units — ISN, Home Inspector Pro, and Palmtech. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and delivery, translating direction from the Head of Product into clear requirements, actionable roadmaps, and high-quality shipped features. You'll lead technical conversations with engineers, set a high bar for UX, and mentor Associate Product Managers on the team. This is not a strategy-only role — you should be comfortable in the weeds, debating technical approach, pushing design quality higher, and unblocking your team day to day.
What You Will Do As A Product Manager, Inspection Software
Own execution of the product roadmap for one or more inspection software brands, translating strategic priorities from the Head of Product into clear, actionable requirements
Participate in technical conversations with engineering, evaluating approaches, scoping tradeoffs, and making sound calls on architecture and constraints
Drive strong UX outcomes across your team's work, setting a high bar for usability and design quality and pushing back when work doesn't meet it
Manage and mentor Associate Product Managers, reviewing their requirements and output, coaching on prioritization and stakeholder communication, and holding a consistent quality bar
Manage weekly demos of in-progress work for stakeholders, and quarterly demos of accomplishments and progress for leadership
Maintain Jira and Confluence documentation so roadmaps, specs, and decisions are current and accessible
Own smooth, well-run launches end to end — coordinating timelines, flagging risks early, ensuring QA sign-off, and keeping stakeholders informed
Use customer feedback (Intercom, Canny, NPS, sales/CS input, and other data) to inform prioritization and identify gaps
What You Will Bring As A Product Manager, Inspection Software
6+ years of Product Management experience, including substantial direct work with engineering teams on technical products
Strong technical background — able to engage deeply with engineers on architecture, tradeoffs, and constraints, and make informed calls, not just facilitate the conversation
A track record as a UX leader — someone who has meaningfully shaped product usability and design quality, not just reviewed it
Experience managing or mentoring junior PMs/APMs, or leading cross-functional execution without direct authority
Strong working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and feedback tools like Pendo or Canny
Data-driven approach to prioritization; comfortable pulling and interpreting product usage and support data
Excellent written communication — specs and feedback need to be clear enough that APMs and engineers can act on them without hand-holding
The application window for this position is anticipated to close in 2 weeks (10 business days) from 8/12/2026. Please know this may change based on business and interviewing needs.
At this time, Porch Group does not consider applicants from the following states or jurisdictions for Remote positions: Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nebraska, Montana, New Hampshire, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia.
