What the posting says

ClickHouse is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to build our go-to-market motion for Postgres managed by ClickHouse, a new cloud offering that pairs Postgres for transactions with ClickHouse for analytics in a single, unified data stack.

You’ll work across product, field, and marketing to take this brand new offering from preview to a growing book of business.

This is a build-from-scratch role at a company moving quickly. We’re open on level and will calibrate to your experience, but we’re looking for someone who has experience with Postgres or other OLTP databases.

What you'll do

Develop GTM strategies and plans to drive awareness, demand, and adoption of Postgres managed by ClickHouse

Craft compelling messaging, positioning, and value propositions that resonate with customers and differentiate Postgres managed by ClickHouse in the market

Create marketing collateral, including website content, blogs, presentations, internal enablement content, and more

Collaborate with the cross-functional team to gather market insights and understand customer needs

Conduct competitive analysis to understand market trends, identify opportunities, and inform product and marketing strategies

Evaluate and iterate on this strategy with metrics and feedback from stakeholders to track efficacy, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations

What you'll bring

Substantial experience in product marketing, product, or a technical role, bonus points for having spent time with Postgres or another OLTP database

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely

Analytical mindset with the capacity to leverage data and metrics to measure performance and inform decision-making

Proven lead skills with the ability to manage multiple priority workstreams and deadlines simultaneously

Team player who collaborates effectively across functions and levels

Deep understanding of databases, particularly OLTP and OLAP

Bonus points

Experience marketing a database, data infrastructure, or developer tools product

Familiarity with the Postgres ecosystem

Experience at a startup or other fast-moving environment
