Anduril's Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) division delivers platforms, systems, and integrated effects across autonomous air vehicles and advanced munitions. Our portfolio — including platforms like Barracuda and Fury — spans high-performance multi-mission air vehicles purpose-built for contested environments and hyperscale production.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Finance Manager, you will own end-to-end financial leadership for a portfolio of programs for the high-growth Advanced Effects business line. This portfolio spans cutting-edge air vehicle programs that are rapidly scaling from development into production. You will set the operating cadence for financial management and scale the processes, tooling, and talent needed to support rapid growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Own full P&L performance for a fast-growing portfolio of Advanced Effects products, spanning revenue, margin, cost structure, working capital, and investment returns

Drive strategic financial analysis that sharpens how we think about unit economics, pricing, cost-down levers, and capital allocation across the portfolio

Set the long-term financial vision for your business area, collaborating with AD&S leadership to define profitability targets, product mix strategy, and growth roadmaps

Lead cross-functional development of the annual operating plan, translating strategy into financial targets and holding the business accountable through monthly forecasting and reporting

Build and improve the processes, models, and systems that bring financial rigor at scale, automating what's manual, standardizing what's ad hoc, and creating tooling that keeps pace with growth

Deliver crisp narratives and decision-quality memos that give AD&S and Finance leaders the clarity to act

Manage and develop a group of high-performing analysts, setting the bar for analytical quality, documentation, controls, and stakeholder partnership

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

6–10+ years of progressive finance experience with meaningful exposure to P&L ownership, FP&A, or operational finance in a manufacturing, hardware, or production environment

Strong command of unit economics, COGS, inventory dynamics, and working capital in a product business

Experience building and owning financial plans: annual budgets, long-range forecasts, and the monthly rhythm that ties them together

Advanced modeling skills and a systems-oriented mindset. You're fluent in Excel and comfortable driving ERP, reporting, and tooling improvements

Track record of leading cross-functional work with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and business leadership

Familiarity with government contracting fundamentals (FAR/DFARS) is a plus but not required. What matters is commercial instinct and financial rigor

Must be eligible to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced degree MBA, CFA and/or CPA.

Per Anduril's expansion plans, we anticipate this job will be based out of Long Beach, CA beginning late 2027.

US Salary Range

$129,000—$171,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
