Responsibilities
As a QA in the newly formed OpsTech team, you will be working alongside the Developers working on our in-house POS system, KDS system, and other in-store applications. These applications are the heart of the operation in our stores. You will test the applications, integrations to terminals, Kiosk systems, etc., and help investigate related bugs and issues.
Overall, your tasks and ceremonies will look like the following:
Daily standup: share any blockers, questions for developers, or issues that need resolving. No need to go task by task
When a new version is about to go out, prepare all required documentation and test cases. Use the standup to raise any related questions.
Retest fixed bugs and run regression testing before each release.
Review bugs and new features, ensuring all tickets are written correctly
Attend sprint ceremonies (refinement, planning, review)
Technical Requirements (Must Have):
At least 1 year of experience in software QA/testing
API testing (Postman or similar tools
Experience with POS systems or Retail
Knowledge of payment flows (e.g.authorization, capture, refund)
Bug Tracking & Test Case Management
System Experience (e.g. JIRA, TestRail, Qase).
Technical Requirements (Good to Have):
Basic scripting skills for test automation
