What the posting says

We're looking for a dynamic, highly organized Recruiting Coordinator to help us scale our team without ever compromising on experience. This is a high-velocity role at the heart of our hiring engine. You'll keep dozens of moving parts in sync, bring order to ambiguity, and make every candidate and hiring partner feel like they're our only priority. If you thrive when the path isn't fully mapped out, move fast without dropping details, and genuinely care about how people are treated, you'll do great here.

Contract Details:

Rate: $40 - $43 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

Hybrid work schedule: In-office M/W/F

What You'll Do

Own the end-to-end candidate experience, making every interaction from first touch to final decision, feel seamless, human, and high-touch

Coordinate and schedule interviews across complex calendars, time zones, and competing priorities, keeping things moving at speed

Serve as a trusted partner to recruiters, interviewers, and hiring managers, anticipating needs, communicating proactively, and making their jobs easier

Operate independently in ambiguity: spot gaps, make judgment calls, and create structure where none exists yet

Identify, initiate, and drive projects that improve and scale our recruiting processes as the team grows

Manage logistics, administrative tasks, and ad-hoc recruiting support with accuracy and urgency

Continuously look for ways to raise the bar on both the external candidate experience and the internal stakeholder experience

What You Bring

1-3 years of experience as either a Recruiting Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, or any adjacent role dealing with high volume scheduling

Comfort operating in ambiguity. You take initiative, make decisions with incomplete information, and don't wait to be told what to do

A natural high-velocity operator who moves quickly without sacrificing accuracy or attention to detail

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously without losing the thread

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proactive, clear, and warm follow-through

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapting fast in a rapidly changing startup environment

Proficiency with various ATSs (Ashby preferred)

Quality

Completeness: 80%

Not enough history yet to judge honesty signals.
