Corin is recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager, to join the Sales Leadership team with responsibility for the West region. The role will be based remotely and includes 13 states- California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri. The main goal of the Regional Sales Manager- West role is generating new revenue and supporting base customers in the designated geographic region. The RSM will achieve this by successfully managing independent sales agents to achieve and exceed performance goals. This will require strong experience building sales teams, hiring top talent, forecasting, developing sales quotas for territories and projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products by revenue stream. Required to think like a P&L owner, develop a deep understanding of the market and competition while also providing region specific insights regarding pricing, product, and marketing campaigns. The RSM will collaborate closely with Corin’s Sales, Marketing, Corporate Accounts, Sales Training and Education groups to successfully deliver results. The key responsibilities of the Regional Sales Manager are to:

Lead and manage all independent sales personnel within the designated territory.

Recruit, retain, and empower strong sales agents.

Track activity and performance trends of sales professionals to assure they understand and adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures

Encourage the completion of product training within the territory, in collaboration with the Corin Marketing team

Provide consistent field interaction and communication to ensure company’s messages are clearly understood

Build rapport and trust with agents and key surgeons to foster interdependent relationships that create strong connectivity

Facilitate the growth of business by ensuring successful onboarding of new customers while servicing current users

Review sales plans for new and existing products

Empower Agents forecasting of sales and associated assets needed to meet the demands of the business

Support all territory case coverage, personally when needed, and technical support to surgeons and hospital staff during implantation of Corin products as needed

Present and sell company products and services to current and potential hospitals and ASCs

Ensure that procedures relating to long-term consignment agreements with hospitals are completed appropriately

Provide tactical information to Corin USA contracts department for price negotiations, to obtain the best possible profit margin for Corin USA

Support teams to ensure timely submission of delivered orders and ensure collection of hospital purchase orders for implants is utilized submitting them within 24-48 hours of surgery date.

Assist with any issues in inventory, invoicing, vigilance or collections

Build annual budgets, based on existing and future sales

Oversee territories to ensure proper inventory controls and return expiring inventory back to Corin Raynham site, while ordering necessary replacements

Maintain compliance with all expense reporting, healthcare professional sponsored activities, for self and direct reports.

Develop and maintain an elevated level of relevant product knowledge by ensuring a comprehensive understanding of Corin and competitive product lines, new product information, service opportunities and special developments

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Corin’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies and ensuring 100% compliance.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, innovative practices, current publications, and regulations

Assist with special projects and priorities as needed

The ideal Regional Sales Manager will have/be:

A bachelor's degree in business

A masters or MBA is also strongly preferred.

10 -15 years related medical device sales management and leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Demonstrated record of significant growth in orthopedic sales across multiple states

Advanced Microsoft Office, including Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook

Demonstrated success leading and managing a team of experienced professionals

Experience in medical device required, orthopedics with focus on total joint replacement is strongly preferred

Fluency in state, federal and other regulations pertinent to medical device sales (Sunshine Act, AdvaMed, etc.)

Demonstrated success in negotiating timelines and working with deadlines

Technical knowledge of competitor products

Prepared to travel domestically for up to 65-70% of your time

The base salary range is $165-185k with a variable compensation package. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
