Retail FP&A Analyst, Soho Home

<p></p> <p><strong>The Role…</strong></p> <p>An exciting opportunity has arisen within the retail division of the Soho House Group with the business that includes our Home and Beauty Brands – ‘Soho Home’ and ‘Cowshed’. Reporting to the Retail Head of Finance, the successful candidate will act as the Retail FP&amp;A Analyst with other duties highlighted below.</p> <p>Key Accountabilities..</p> <ul> <li>Lead the bi-annual budget process</li> <li>Ownership of forecast modelling, improve and develop current process</li> <li>Provide robust commercial challenges to budget holders</li> <li>Assist with supporting strategic decision making by providing reporting and analysis</li> <li>Produce monthly analysis on margins, cost trends and key variances to present to senior stakeholders</li> <li>Investigate any margin discrepancies with the budget holders and identify changes/improvements to the process of margin management</li> <li>Produce business cases for potential new sites and revenue streams</li> <li>Lead the monthly P/L reviews with the trade leads and site GMs, to discuss performance, key variances to budget and actions are recorded / followed up each month</li> <li>Support the Management Accounts team with month end close</li> <li>Maintain and improve reporting templates, dashboards and planning tools</li> <li>Produce ad hoc analysis as directed by FD / CFO</li> <li>Support on year end and the annual audit</li> <li>Additional ad-hoc duties as requested.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What we're looking for…</strong></p> <ul> <li>Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA</li> <li>2-4 years’ experience</li> <li>Strong and robust character, confident in challenging at all levels.</li> <li>Previous Retail FP&amp;A experience essential</li> <li>Advanced Excel skills and ideally experience with Microsoft Business Central package and Power BI.</li> <li>Ability to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills and ability to work under own initiative and collaborate across departments.</li> <li>Ability to manage and prioritise tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail.</li> <li>"Solution driven” as opposed to “problem focusing"</li> <li>Ability to adapt to new systems efficiently and understand the end-to-end process.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Benefits…</strong></p> <p>Soho House offers competitive compensation packages that feature global benefits and perks.
