Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics) or a related field; a Masters degree or MBA is a plus.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in robotics implementation, automation, or manufacturing project management.
Experience with low-volume, high-mix production settings and scaling capacity through automation.
Competent in project management and associated tools.
Strong understanding of robotic systems, including collaborative robots, industrial arms, AGVs, sensors, actuators, and related hardware.
Deep knowledge of manufacturing systems, lean principles, and digital transformation tools.
Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Capable of influencing and driving change.
Able to work autonomously in a cross-functional environment.
Strong analytical skills.
Good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Willingness to travel abroad in Europe 20–40%.

Responsibilities:
Identify and support the implementation of robotization opportunities to support growth and scalability in low-volume, high-mix production environments.
Act as the main interface between factory operations and digital technology teams (IT/OT) to ensure seamless integration of robotic systems into our digital landscape (SAP, MES, Windchill, etc.).
Coordinate or lead the planning, execution, and delivery of robotic projects from concept to commissioning with factory teams and integrators.
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in alignment with stakeholders.
Coordinate with internal teams such as engineering, operations, maintenance, and safety, as well as external vendors and integrators.
Manage project risks, change controls, and resource constraints to ensure successful deployment.
Analyze manufacturing processes with the factory to identify automation and robotization opportunities.
Define ROI, payback period, and performance KPIs for proposed robotic investments.
Prepare and present detailed business cases to Business Line leadership and the robotics & automation council to support capital investment decisions.
Act as the key interface between operational teams and IT/digital stakeholders to align needs and system requirements.
Ensure proper integration of robotic and automation systems with enterprise platforms such as SAP, MES, and SCADA.
Validate data flow and system compatibility, including master data, production orders, traceability, and real-time data.
Support network infrastructure planning, cybersecurity compliance, and digital architecture design.
Collaborate with digital organization teams to ensure production sites are ready for new robotic systems, including connectivity, data mapping, and protocols.
Support the development of roadmaps for future robotic initiatives in European factories and the scalability of running projects.
Contribute to the roadmap of robotic and digital initiatives at factory and business line level.
Help define integration standards, digital best practices, and scalable solutions.
Support knowledge transfer and capability building across sites to strengthen the organizations digital maturity.

The role is regional and open to candidates based in Germany, Italy, or France.
