What the posting says

Sales Development Representative (SDR)

AI-Powered Marketing Technology | Remote | Part-Time (approx. 20 hrs/week)

About the Role

A fast-growing AI marketing technology company is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Development Representative to join its remote team on a part-time basis. This company has built an AI-powered platform that autonomously manages Meta advertising campaigns for gyms and boutique fitness studios, delivering consistent lead flow without the manual overhead typically associated with paid advertising.

The SDR's mission is straightforward: book qualified demos for the in-house closing team. You will own the top of the funnel entirely, working a warm-adjacent pipeline of gym owners, Pilates studios, yoga studios, and Lagree fitness operators. You are not pitching a complex enterprise product. You are starting a conversation with a business owner who likely knows their Meta ads are not performing as well as they could, and introducing them to a solution that is low-risk to try and simple to understand.

This role is best suited to an SDR who is disciplined, self-directed, and genuinely energized by outbound prospecting. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy across multiple outreach channels and are expected to hit the ground running.

What You Will Be Selling

An AI platform that autonomously runs Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising for fitness businesses. Prospects start with a 14-day free trial, then convert to a $199/month subscription. The offer is low-friction and tangible, which means your conversations will be about value and timing rather than lengthy technical justification. Your job is to spark enough interest to book the demo. The sales team takes it from there.

Target Audience

Independent gym owners and operators

Boutique fitness studio owners: Pilates, yoga, Lagree, and similar formats

Decision-makers who handle or oversee their own marketing spend

Primarily small to mid-sized fitness businesses across North America

Key Responsibilities

Execute high-volume outbound prospecting across LinkedIn, email, phone, and social media to identify and engage fitness business owners

Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to build targeted prospect lists and conduct personalized outreach to decision-makers in the fitness industry

Work an existing email and phone list, adding context and personalization to outreach based on each prospect's business type and profile

Craft compelling, concise outreach messages tailored to gym and boutique studio owners, speaking directly to their paid advertising pain points

Qualify prospects and book discovery calls or product demos for the in-house sales team

Log all outreach activity, prospect notes, and pipeline updates in GoHighLevel (CRM)

Follow up persistently and professionally across channels, maintaining a cadence that keeps prospects moving through the pipeline

Provide regular updates on outreach volume, pipeline activity, and booked demos

Qualifications

Required

Demonstrated experience in an SDR, BDR, or outbound sales role with a track record of booking qualified meetings

Comfortable executing multi-channel outreach including cold email, cold calling, LinkedIn messaging, and social prospecting

Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator for targeted prospecting

Experience with GoHighLevel or a comparable CRM for pipeline and activity tracking

Strong written communication skills with the ability to write concise, personalized outreach that gets responses

Self-starter with the ability to manage a part-time schedule independently without close oversight

Resilient and persistent — you understand that outbound sales is a volume game and you do not get discouraged by a no

Preferred

Prior experience selling into the fitness industry or to small business owners

Familiarity with Meta advertising concepts (Facebook and Instagram ads), even at a basic level

Experience selling SaaS or subscription-based products

Background in selling a free trial or low-cost entry offer

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate has done this before and does not need to be trained on what outbound prospecting looks like. You know how to research a prospect, write a message that does not read like a template, follow up without being annoying, and move a conversation toward a next step. You are organized enough to track your own pipeline without being reminded, and you understand that consistency over time is what drives results.

Fitness industry familiarity is a genuine advantage here. If you understand the business model of a boutique studio or independent gym, you will write better outreach, handle objections more naturally, and book more demos. It is not a requirement, but it will show.
