Salary: 49.000 - 70.000 € per year

Requirements:

Completed university degree in technical computer science or comparable

Minimum 3 years of professional crypto experience with hardware and software components

(IT) security knowledge

Advanced SW implementation and review capability: Java, C++, Ansible, TCL, (Groovy, ASLAN)

Advanced experience with tools: JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence

Advanced expertise in Linux, OSI model and protocols, virtualization, logging, certificate management, security hardening, firewall config, switch config

Experience with software development (Agile development, Linux-Environments, DevOps, Kubernetes)

Good communication and team skills

Fluency in German and English

Responsibilities:

Independent end-to-end crypto design, development and verification for new ground segments

Independent software development and verification of test procedures or scripts that verify crypto functions and devices

Autonomous implementation and transfer of test procedures into different system languages

Structured and self-organized conduction of crypto system functional integration and verification tests

Autonomous definition and implementation of verification documents according to ECSS standards

Autonomous migration of the current crypto chain to cloud-based architecture

Self-organized integration of the newest crypto hardware in the ground segment

Take ownership of crypto system development, integration, verification and operation

Define technical strategies and lead complex engineering tasks

Ensure alignment with project goals and customer requirements for hardware-related components up to infrastructure software and end-to-end solutions

Mentor junior team members

Work closely with subject experts for crypto, software AIT and satellite operation

Contribute to the transformation plan and return-of-experience activities for future solution improvement
