What the posting says

ABOUT UNRIVALED

Unrivaled is a premier professional women’s 3v3 basketball league showcasing the top players in the sport. Our mission is to elevate the profile of women’s basketball through exceptional talent, groundbreaking partnerships, and unparalleled fan experiences.

JOB OVERVIEW

Unrivaled is seeking a Facebook Coordinator for the 2026–2027 season. The engagement is expected to begin on December 14, 2026 and continue through approximately March 31, 2027, subject to completion of the agreed scope of services. The services are expected to be performed remotely, except as otherwise agreed by the parties.

The contractor will manage and grow our Facebook page with an emphasis on monetization strategy and content built specifically for how audiences consume Facebook. This is a remote role for someone who understands the mechanics of Facebook's algorithm and monetization tools as well as they understand what makes a piece of content actually perform there.

They will also be responsible for remote game coverage — turning around highlights and real, in-the-moment content quickly and packaging it in ways that are optimized for Facebook specifically.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Strategy & Optimization

Build and manage a Facebook-specific content calendar, ensuring every post is optimized for the platform's format, captioning, and cadence.

Tracking cross-platform content from the league and clubs and repackaging it for Facebook to maximize reach across the Unrivaled ecosystem.

Use performance data (reach, watch time, engagement, revenue) to refine content strategy, in partnership with the Content and Social teams

Monetization & Platform Growth

Own Facebook monetization strategy (Stars, subscriptions, and other revenue tools), staying ahead of eligibility requirements and platform changes

Track performance and identify opportunities to grow revenue page-over-page

Remote Game Coverage

Cover games remotely via broadcast feeds, producing fast-turnaround highlights and key moments tailored for Facebook

Coordinate with the Content team on gameday workflows for consistent coverage across every game

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience managing a Facebook page for a brand, media company, sports team, or publisher, with direct experience in Facebook monetization tools

Strong understanding of Facebook's algorithm, content formats, and audience behavior — distinct from Instagram or TikTok best practices

Experience turning around highlight and real-moment content quickly, ideally in a live sports or live events context

Comfort working independently and remotely, including covering live games during evenings/weekends as the schedule requires

Data-driven mindset — comfortable pulling and interpreting Facebook Insights/analytics to guide decisions

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a content calendar and gameday workflow simultaneously

Passion for women's sports and basketball culture strongly preferred

Unrivaled is an equal opportunity organization. All qualified individuals will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, ancestry, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other basis protected under applicable federal, state or local law.
