About this role
The Security Operations Administrator is a founding member of our security team responsible for supporting the deployment, day-to-day administration, maintenance, monitoring, and operational effectiveness of Atria’s cybersecurity platforms. This role will help strengthen Atria’s cybersecurity maturity by ensuring core security tools are properly maintained, documented, tuned, and operationally aligned with IT, Engineering, and business needs.
This position will work closely with the IT Team, Engineering Team, vendors, and implementation partners to support Atria’s growing cybersecurity program. The role is intended for a hands-on security operations professional who can manage practical administrative tasks while having significant opportunity to mature our overall security program over time.

Reports to: VP of Information Technology
Works closely with: Software Foundations team (leadership, Platform and DevOps Team Leads), IT Help Desk, vendors, and implementation partners
Responsibilities
The Security Operations Administrator will be responsible for supporting the ongoing operation of Atria’s cybersecurity tools and related processes, including:
Administer and maintain assigned cybersecurity platforms, including, Zscaler, Armis,, SentinelOne and related systems.
Support daily security operations activities, including alert review and tuning, triage, escalation, and follow-up tracking.
Support our MSSP with alert configuration, runbooks, tuning.
Assist with the ongoing administration of identity, endpoint, asset management, privileged access, and email security controls.
Support asset discovery, inventory validation, asset tagging, ownership mapping, and reconciliation across multiple platforms.
Maintain accurate documentation for platform ownership, administrative access, configuration standards, operational procedures, and support workflows.
Coordinate with vendors and certified partners after implementation to ensure proper handoff, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness.
Assist with user-reported phishing workflows, email security investigations, and awareness-related follow-up.
Support privileged access management processes, access reviews, credential lifecycle tasks, and exception tracking.
Coordinate with the DevOps team on cloud security, Zscaler, Rubrik, GCP, Cloudflare, GitHub Advanced Security, and related security requirements.
Prepare recurring operational reports for IT leadership, and executive stakeholders.
Track remediation items, open issues, platform risks, and operational gaps through completion.
Collaborate with IT and Engineering on patching, configuration management, endpoint compliance, and device security workflows as needed.
Participate in security incidents, investigations, tabletop exercises, and maturity improvement initiatives as needed.

Requirements
5+ years of experience in IT operations, security operations, systems administration, endpoint administration, or a related technical role.
Practical experience administering security or infrastructure platforms in a small to mid-sized environment.
Working knowledge of identity, endpoint, asset management, patching, and security operations concepts.
Experience with one or more of the following tools; Okta, Intune, Kandji, SentinelOne, NinjaOne, Fortinet, Armis, Abnormal Security, Zscaler, Rubrik, GCP, Cloudflare, or GitHub security tooling.
Ability to perform basic security alert review, troubleshooting, and escalation.
Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create runbooks, procedures, checklists, and operational tracking documents.
Ability to work across IT, DevOps, security, and vendor teams.
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small-team environment.
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare, life sciences, research, or other regulated environments.
Familiarity with HIPAA, privacy, data protection, or clinical operations.
Experience supporting cloud environments, especially Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with privileged access management or identity governance.
Experience with asset discovery, CMDB cleanup, device ownership mapping, or inventory normalization.
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as CIS Controls or NIST CSF.
Familiarity with emerging artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and their application across relevant cybersecurity domains including but not limited to; network security, Identity, endpoint management and data security.
Certifications such as Security+, CySA+, SSCP, Okta, Google Cloud, or other relevant vendor certifications.
Success Measures
Success in this role will be measured by:
Improved ownership and administration of cybersecurity platforms.
More accurate asset inventory and device ownership records.
Reduced operational burden on the IT and DevOps teams.
Improved documentation and repeatability of security processes.
Timely follow-up on security alerts, platform issues, and remediation tasks.
Strong coordination between IT, DevOps, and external vendors.
Clear reporting on security platform health, open risks, and operational progress.
Effective use of interns for low-risk, repeatable support tasks.
Role Scope
This is a hands-on operational role. The Security Operations Administrator is not expected to independently design Atria’s full cybersecurity strategy or own all security risk decisions. Instead, this role is responsible for helping ensure that Atria’s cybersecurity platforms are properly administered, monitored, documented, and used effectively.
Salary range: $80,000-$130,000
