Senior AI Engineer (m/f/d) - System Engineering

Salary: 51.000 - 91.000 € per year

Requirements:

4+ years of working experience as a software, ML or AI engineer

Proven track record in delivering end-to-end solutions to production

Experience within the GenAI space

Experience with cloud platforms AWS, GCP, or Azure

Experience leading projects or small technical teams

Strong communication skills in English and German, technical and non-technical

Familiarity with MLOps principles and a passion for building robust, scalable systems

Currently based in Europe, since relocation outside of Europe is not possible for this role today

Responsibilities:

Take up a tech lead role on a per-project basis

Work end-to-end from data to production

See our solutions live in real-world environments

Combine AI, software engineering, and business impact

Design and build end-to-end AI solutions

Take systems from idea to production deployment

Make architecture decisions and ensure scalability

Lead teams of engineers

Translate business challenges into technical solutions

Work with Python, ML frameworks, GenAI, and cloud AWS/GCP/Azure

Build scalable systems using MLOps and CI/CD

Lend technical expertise to client conversations to help start new opportunities

Work 70% on client project work and 30% on research, internal domain work and more
