Position Overview:

MyOme is looking for an experienced and pragmatic individual to join our integrations and portal team. This position will help enable patients and providers to order testing and understand results, bringing clarity and ease of use to complex genetics results. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of healthcare data and an eagerness to build value through fast prototyping and iteration.

What You'll Do:

Add new features to our backend systems to support portal enhancements Support integration partners through reusable feature builds Create test data to aid in the design and development of our systems Develop new APIs Contribute to the team through code reviews and design discussions Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement Balance quick wins with long-term technical sustainability

Location, Compensation, and Benefits:

Location: Remote in the US Compensation: Annual base salary range is $160,000 - $200,000, based on experience

What You'll Need:

No specific degree prerequisite. If you can do the work well and humbly, we want to talk with you. 6+ years of software development experience 2+ years of healthcare/biotech experience Experience with HIPAA compliance and healthcare software, or other privacy-focused frontends Proven track record of building and deploying production-grade web applications Experience with CI/CD pipelines Comfortable in Python/Django Comfortable with designing APIs Preferable experience in genetics
