Role Overview:

We are looking for aSenior Business Analystto supportregulatory reportinginitiatives within abankingenvironment. The role focuses on analyzing and implementing regulatory requirements, driving process automation, reducing manual adjustments, and contributing toECBremediation activities. The consultant will serve as a liaison between business andITstakeholders, with strong expectations aroundSQLproficiency,data warehouseknowledge, and hands-on experience withbankingfinancial data and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and implement new business andregulatory reportingrequirements

Drive automation of manual file-based processes and identify opportunities to reduce manual adjustments

SupportECBremediation activities and ensure alignment with supervisory expectations

Act as a key liaison between business andITstakeholders across cross-functional teams

Translate complex datasets and statistical concepts into clear business insights

Model and optimize business processes using establishedbusiness process modellingtechniques

Translateregulatory reportingrules and validation logic into clear business and data requirements

Contribute to the design and improvement ofdata warehouseand reporting solutions

Write and maintain requirements documentation usingConfluenceand manage tasks inJira

Perform data analysis and reporting usingSQLandMicrosoft Office

Engage and manage stakeholders at multiple levels, ensuring clear communication and alignment

Must-Have Requirements:

Strong business knowledge ofbankingregulatory reporting processes and frameworks

Solid understanding ofbankingproducts, systems, processes, and financial data

Proven experience in business analysis and requirements engineering

Experience inbusiness process modelling

Ability to analyze and translateregulatory reportingrequirements into clear business and data requirements

Understanding of reporting rules, validation logic, and supervisory expectations

Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills

Experience working in cross-functional teams

Good understanding ofData Literacyprinciples

Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies

Understanding ofdata warehouseand reporting concepts and solutions

StrongSQLskills

Proficiency inMicrosoft Office

Experience withAtlassian JiraandConfluence

FluentEnglish(spoken and written)

Nice to Have:

Hands-onregulatory reportingexperience

Knowledge ofBCBS239principles and requirements

Model: B2B contract with Bonapolia - one contract, one monthly invoice

Rate: negotiated per candidate seniority and client budget

Payment: monthly invoice, paid on the same schedule the client pays us (usually 30 days)

Contract written under your country's law
