Senior Cloud / DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Salary: 60.000 - 90.000 € per year

Requirements:

• Someone with substantial hands-on experience managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters in production (this is not an entry-level role)

• Deep practical Azure expertise at production scale, including AKS, networking, storage and IAM

• Strong Kubernetes architecture & operations skills

• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or similar tooling

• Experience across CI/CD pipelines, service mesh / API gateways, and production identity & auth systems

• Solid backend development skills

Responsibilities:

This is your chance to take real ownership of infrastructure within a small, cracked engineering team - with far more impact than youd have in a huge platform org. Youll own the systems Dæly runs on end to end, make architectural decisions and build the infrastructure that carries us through our next phase of growth.

• Own our Azure infrastructure end to end across reliability, scalability and cost

• Operate and scale Kubernetes (dev, staging & production), including upgrades, autoscaling, networking and ingress

• Manage Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD across our cloud stack

• Support backend development, integrations and production troubleshooting

• Run observability across logs, metrics, alerting and incident response

• Improve identity/auth infrastructure and contribute to security & compliance readiness

• Drive cloud cost optimization

• Plan and potentially execute a migration from Azure Germany to an EU-based hosting provider
