Key Responsibilities

Develop, refine, and operationalize pricing and revenue optimization algorithms for the Diesel Direct business, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy and market dynamics.

Lead complex, cross-functional analytical initiatives, including pricing process redesign, purchasing strategy optimization, unit margin analysis, asset utilization modeling, and commercial performance diagnostics.

Build executive-ready dashboards and analytical products (Tableau, Power BI) that surface insights, monitor KPIs, and support decision-making across sales, operations, and supply & trading.

Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify revenue, margin, and efficiency opportunities; quantify impact; and recommend actionable strategies.

Translate analytical findings into business recommendations, influencing senior stakeholders and supporting commercial re-engineering initiatives.

Champion automation and self-service analytics, identifying recurring workflows and converting them into robust, reusable tools.

Required Skills & Experience

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, MIS, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline.

3-5 years of experience in pricing analytics, revenue management, commercial analytics, or data-driven operational optimization.

Demonstrated experience applying advanced analytical methods (e.g., machine learning, optimization, forecasting) to large, complex datasets.

Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with the ability to build production-grade analytical pipelines and automation tools.

Advanced experience with visual ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx) and data workflow orchestration.

Expertise in dashboard design and data storytelling using Tableau or Power BI.

Proven ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches and deliver actionable insights.

Comfortable implementing and validating mathematical and statistical algorithms in a commercial context.

Preferred Qualifications
