Requirements:

Sichere Kommunikation auf Englisch

Erfahrung mit GitHub Actions, Fly.io, Elixir/Phoenix oder einem ISO-27001- oder DORA-bezogenen Umfeld ist hilfreich, aber keine Voraussetzung

Several years of hands-on experience operating business-critical production systems on Microsoft Azure

Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, automation and infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or Pulumi

Practical production experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications and PostgreSQL

Concrete experience resolving production incidents and testing system or database recovery

Sound technical judgment, clear communication and ownership through to day-to-day operation

Confident communication in English

Experience with GitHub Actions, Fly.io, Elixir/Phoenix or an ISO 27001 or DORA-related environment is helpful, but not required

Responsibilities:

Betrieb und Verbesserung unserer Azure-Infrastruktur, unter anderem Azure Front Door, VM Scale Sets, Netzwerk, Storage und Backups

Automatisierung von Infrastruktur und Deployments sowie Weiterentwicklung unserer CI/CD-Pipelines

Verbesserung von Monitoring, Logging und Alarmierung, damit Probleme früh erkannt und behoben werden

Sicherstellung des zuverlässigen Betriebs unserer PostgreSQL-Datenbanken, einschließlich Performance, Backups und getesteter Wiederherstellung

Technische Analyse von Produktionsstörungen, Koordination ihrer Behebung und Umsetzung dauerhafter Verbesserungen

Dokumentation und Test von Recovery- und Failover-Verfahren anhand definierter RTO- und RPO-Ziele

Stärkung von Zugriffsschutz, Secrets Management und sicheren Änderungsprozessen

Pflege der Betriebsdokumentation und Unterstützung bei technischen Nachweisen für interne Prüfungen und Kunden

Following our move to Azure, we are looking for an experienced engineer to take ownership of our production platform and develop it further with our CTO and software team.
