About Scaling.com
Scaling.com helps established business owners 10x their companies in three years or less. We work with entrepreneurs doing $1 million or more in revenue who are ready to stop being the bottleneck and build a company that scales. Our creative library includes books, podcasts, keynotes, live events, member interviews, case studies, trainings, webinars, founder content, and years of verified customer stories.
Why This Role Exists
Scaling.com tests hundreds of paid hooks each week. When a hook or angle proves it can earn attention, you will turn it into a family of visual concepts for paid static ads. We are looking for a designer who has already produced conversion-focused creative at the volume and quality required to support multiple millions of dollars in monthly ad spend.
You will receive a winning hook or developed angle. You are not waiting for a finished layout. Your job is to decide how the idea should be visualized, which evidence or source material strengthens it, and how to create multiple distinct concepts that can be tested quickly.
This is one high-ownership in-house role, not a contractor-management position and not a brand-polish role.
Requirements
Your Core Workflow
Receive a winning hook, proven ad, or developed angle from the creative strategy team, along with winners, losers, hook data, creative references, and testing requests supplied by our Head of Content and paid-media team.
Understand why it worked and what the visual must communicate in the first second.
Use AI to search our content and proof library for relevant testimonials, founder material, book passages, customer stories, screenshots, frameworks, podcast moments, event excerpts, and visual references.
Develop several genuinely different visual concepts before polishing one direction. Continually contribute original concepts, competitor references, visual devices, and new test ideas to the team's shared concept pool.
Design paid statics around books, highlighted passages, frameworks, customer proof, founder material, screenshots, UGC-style assets, photography, and original visual metaphors.
Create meaningful variations across headline, hierarchy, composition, image choice, proof, framing, CTA, and visual hook.
Use AI to accelerate research, composition exploration, image cleanup, controlled asset generation, and repetitive production while retaining human control over the concept and final craft.
Ship clean, editable Figma files and platform-ready exports.
Review the winners, losers, hook data, and performance feedback supplied by our Head of Content and paid-media team, then turn the learning into new visual families.

What Your Day Actually Looks Like
Review winners, losers, hook data, creative references, and testing directions supplied by our Head of Content and paid-media team.
Select an approved hook or developed angle and generate several distinct visual approaches.
Search the content library with AI for the strongest supporting proof and imagery.
Build net-new concepts with disciplined hierarchy, typography, imagery, credibility, and platform-safe composition.
Create useful variations that isolate a real hypothesis.
Inspect legibility at feed size, source accuracy, visual artifacts, alignment, export settings, and file structure.
Use the supplied results and team analysis to build the next visual family from what worked.
What Success Looks Like
A proven hook becomes several distinct, testable visual concepts rather than one layout with color changes.
The idea reads immediately and the visual earns attention without cheapening trust.
Proof remains legible, accurate, and credible for a sophisticated business audience.
AI expands useful research and output without replacing design judgment.
Winning concepts are recombined and extended as the paid-media team scales them.
Editable files remain organized for rapid reuse and iteration.
What We Need to See
A portfolio of conversion-oriented paid ads with measurable outcomes such as spend, qualified leads, CTR, conversion, booked calls, revenue, or lift against a control. Your past work should demonstrate the volume, quality, and judgment required to sustain multiple millions of dollars in monthly ad spend.
Strong typography, hierarchy, composition, image craft, and concept range across more than one visual style.
Personal ownership of the concepts and editable files you show.
Experience designing for a sophisticated or high-consideration audience where credibility matters as much as stopping power.
A testing example that explains the hook, visual hypothesis, variants, controlled differences, result, and next decision.
A repeatable AI-enabled Figma or design workflow with a finished example and credible impact on speed or output.
This Role Is Not
An organic social designer
A brand-only portfolio role
A production artist waiting for layouts
Template swapping at volume
AI imagery without design
A contractor-management position
Beauty without response
How to Apply
Choose one paid static campaign you personally designed. Explain the winning hook or starting angle, the audience, the visual hypothesis, the concepts and variations, the measurable result, and what you created next. Include the numbers and show the editable working-file structure.
Then show us how AI materially improved the research, concepting, or production workflow without replacing your design judgment.
