Reporting to the SVP, Global Engineering and Infrastructure, the Senior Director of Health & Safety Operations Europe serves as a strategic leader driving safety excellence across our European operations. You will champion the development and implementation of robust H&S strategies, ensuring full regulatory compliance while fostering a world-class safety culture. This role demands a visionary leader capable of influencing cross-functional teams and implementing industry-best practices to minimize risk and achieve ambitious safety performance goals.

What you’ll do

Define and execute the European H&S strategy, aligning safety milestones with broader business objectives.

Cultivate a "Zero Incident" organizational culture by architecting risk-reduction programs across all operations.

Safeguard the business by ensuring rigorous compliance with local and international safety regulations and certifications.

Standardize safety processes across diverse sites using our newly developed, proprietary safety framework.

Partner with Supply Chain and Site Operations leadership to integrate safety into the heart of production practices.

Leverage data to track KPIs, providing senior leadership with actionable insights and performance reports.

Lead high-stakes incident investigations, ensuring deep root-cause analysis and the execution of effective corrective actions.

Act as the primary representative for safety matters with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders across Europe.

Orchestrate internal and external safety audits to ensure consistent best-practice standards across all regions.

Mentor and develop a high-performing team of safety experts, fostering professional growth and succession planning.

Pioneer the use of AI and emerging technologies as accelerators for continuous improvement and safety innovation.

What you’ll bring

15+ years of safety management experience, with at least 5 years in a high-impact leadership role.

Subject matter expertise in European safety regulations, multi-national frameworks, and compliance standards.

Industry background in FMCG, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Fulfillment preferred.

Proven track record of implementing scalable safety strategies across complex, international geographies.

Analytical mindset with the ability to translate safety data into strategic business decisions.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders at all levels.

A relentless passion for safety and a dedication to continuous operational improvement.

Strong leadership presence with a focus on empowering teams and maximizing individual potential.
