Sr. Director, Marketing Operations

Role Purpose Statement: The Senior Director of Marketing Operations leads the strategy, infrastructure, and execution of marketing processes, technology, and analytics. This role bridges marketing strategy and operational execution, driving efficient lead-to-revenue workflows, robust MarTech integration, and tight alignment with Sales Operations, Finance, and Legal to accelerate company growth.

Main Responsibilities:

Strategy & Alignment: Collaborate with the SVP of Marketing and marketing leaders to develop marketing strategy, track objectives, and improve cross-functional coordination across the organization. Includes publishing scorecards, running QBRs, delivering on BoD requirements, and other rhythm-of-the-business cadences.

Pipeline Leadership & Optimization: Co-lead the Pipeline Council, track critical workstreams, and optimize both the overall lead experience and pipeline progression opportunities in close partnership with Sales Operations.

MarTech Innovation & Integration: Drive marketing systems integration and continuous technology innovation, establishing the long-term vision, selection, architecture, and upkeep of the global MarTech stack.

Automation & Lead Management: Oversee marketing automation systems, including scalable campaign execution, automated lead scoring, nurture programs, and lead routing algorithms. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Ops and IT to enable intent-based Sales Development lead prioritization capabilities

Funnel Tracking & Attribution: Partner with Sales Operations to track and optimize the lead funnel and pipeline progression; establish multi-touch attribution models to measure channel performance, ROI, and marketing's impact on revenue.

Account-Based Operations (MQA): Lead the strategy and implementation of a Marketing Qualified Account (MQA) mechanism in collaboration with Sales Operations to drive aligned account-based growth.

Budget & Financial Planning: Lead the annual budget planning process and quarterly calibrations in close alignment with marketing budget owners and Finance business partners.

Governance & Data Privacy: Develop, manage, and execute operational processes to ensure marketing complies with global data privacy laws while maintaining high data hygiene standards.

Team Leadership: Manage a team of marketing operations and analytics professionals,

Required Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years of progressive experience in revenue, marketing, or business operations with a focus on B2B go-to-market strategies.

Experience designing and operationalizing target account strategies, specifically Marketing Qualified Account (MQA) models and account scoring frameworks.

Deep experience working cross functionally to ensure sales-marketing alignment, pipeline velocity, and lead flow.

Proven track record managing enterprise MarTech architectures, deep marketing systems integrations, advanced automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Qualified, 6sense), and CRMs (e.g., Salesforce).

Hands-on expertise with lead scoring, multi-touch attribution platforms, and end-to-end funnel analytics.

Experience managing budgeting in an enterprise environment.

Demonstrated capability in developing processes to comply with global data privacy laws.

Seasoned people manager with strong project management capabilities and a track record of hiring, managing, and developing top talent.

Salary Hiring Range:

$156,000 to $224,000 Plus Bonus

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
