About the Team

Trading Services Engineering team powers OKX's core trading infrastructure — the systems that keep millions of users trading reliably, 24/7, at global scale. You'll build the backbone that other engineering teams depend on.

What You'll Be Doing

Design and build high-availability, low-latency distributed services that power core trading flows

Own service reliability end-to-end: architecture, performance tuning, monitoring, and incident response

Partner with Product and cross-functional engineering teams to translate trading requirements into scalable system design

Drive technical best practices through code reviews, design reviews, and mentorship of peers

Contribute to Kafka-based messaging architecture and event-driven system design at scale

What You’ll Be Doing

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Marketing to drive innovation and execution

Design and implement high availability, high-performance distributed services

Contribute to technology best practices and perform code reviews for peers

What We Look For In You

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Demonstrated experience adopting AI tools in the engineering workflow, able to evaluate and integrate AI capabilities into day-to-day development

Hands-on experience in Microservice/API development using Java/SpringBoot/SpringCloud

Strong knowledge of multi-threading and distributed architecture, and understanding of messaging frameworks such as Kafka

Proficient in relational database design and development

Comfortable working in a cloud-based Linux environment

Proven experience in automated testing and continuous integration

Knowledge of integrating with 3rd party software via APIs/SDKs
