What you'll do
Brex is looking for a strategic, data-driven Senior Field Marketing Manager to build and lead the field marketing motion for our Commercial segment.
Commercial represents one of Brex's largest growth opportunities. This role will be responsible for developing the segment strategy, identifying the markets and audiences with the greatest potential, and creating integrated programs that generate new pipeline and accelerate existing opportunities.
You will operate as the marketing lead for the Commercial business, partnering closely with Sales to understand their goals, test new approaches, and build repeatable programs that can scale. Your campaigns may include executive and customer events, industry programs, direct mail, digital experiences, partner activations, webinars, account-based plays, and other creative approaches.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial judgment with hands-on execution. You are comfortable analyzing pipeline and campaign performance, presenting to Sales leadership, and managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders.
Where you'll work
This role will be based in our San Francisco office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work!
Responsibilities
Own the field marketing strategy, annual plan, budget, and pipeline goals for the Commercial segment
Partner with Commercial Sales leadership and set the planning rhythm across Marketing, Sales, and SDR
Analyze account, pipeline, industry, geographic, and performance data to identify the highest-potential audiences
Build integrated campaigns that combine in-person, digital, partner, content, direct mail, and account-based tactics
Shape event strategy, from regional programs to targeted dinners. For larger experiences, partner with the Events team while owning the audience, objective, Sales plan, and pipeline outcome
Test new campaign ideas, define success upfront, and turn what works into repeatable plays and documented playbooks
Track results (pipeline, conversion, ROI) and present them to senior Marketing and Sales leaders
Requirements
7+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, demand gen, account-based marketing, or a related role, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or another high-growth technology company
Experience owning marketing strategy for a defined customer segment, region, industry, or sales organization
A track record of sourcing and accelerating pipeline through integrated programs
A strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle and the ability to translate Sales priorities into focused marketing strategies
Fluency in marketing and pipeline metrics, including the ability to analyze campaign performance, diagnose gaps, and clearly explain results
Strong project management and executive communication skills, with comfort juggling multiple programs in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel up to 40% for events, Sales meetings, and customer programs
Bonus points
Experience building a field marketing motion or entering an underdeveloped segment
Experience marketing to companies in the Commercial or emerging mid-market segment
Familiarity with finance, fintech, spend, payments, ERP, or procurement audiences
Experience using Salesforce and marketing analytics platforms to assess funnel performance and campaign impact
Experience developing a business case for additional investment or team growth based on demonstrated results
Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $131,000 - $163,000. The starting wage will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. The OTE figure listed here includes base salary and commissions, which may or may not be earned depending on performance.
