Senior IT-Administrator (m/w/d)

Salary: 40.000 - 65.000 € per year

Requirements:

A completed vocational training program in the IT field, e.g., as an IT Specialist (m/f/d) for System Integration, an IT Systems Technician (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification.

Several years of experience in system administration and the operation of complex IT infrastructures.

Very good knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and practical experience with VMware.

Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, networks, firewalls, VPN, storage, backup, and virtualization.

In-depth knowledge of IT security and, ideally, experience with ISMS / ISO 27001.

Experience in planning and implementing IT projects, as well as in collaborating with external IT service providers.

A structured, solution-oriented, and independent work style with a strong sense of responsibility.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as a passion for sharing knowledge.

Willingness to continuously develop your skills and learn about new technologies.

Responsibilities:

Youll support and advise our employees on-site, remotely, or via the ticket system.

Youll create and maintain our IT documentation and continuously develop our internal knowledge base.

Youll play a key role in ensuring the security of our IT infrastructure. Through continuous professional development, initiative, and a strong focus on security, youll keep our systems up to date.

Youll manage our entire infrastructure—from the network, firewall, and VPN to storage, VMware, backups, and other central system components.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for software installations, the setup and maintenance of workstations, and the administration and monitoring of our server infrastructure, including our hosting environment for approximately 300 customers.

You are responsible for the approximately 12 hosted Microsoft SQL Servers and play a leading role in coordinating collaboration with our IT service provider.

You will contribute to the establishment and further development of our Information Security Management System (ISMS), as well as to the preparation for and implementation of ISO 27001 certification.

You will not only provide support for IT projects but also actively contribute your own ideas and drive further developments forward.
