About This Role

As Senior Manager, Workplace, reporting to the Director of People Ops and Workplace, you'll lead a team of workplace professionals across the US, own our global workplace employee experience budget and real estate contracts, and build a standardized Workplace playbook, covering security, visitor policy, and daily operations, that scales consistently across every office This role will work closely with our People Team and leadership teams to create workplaces that not only support employee productivity and well-being but also upholds the company's commitment to fostering an inclusive culture.

This is a highly cross functional role. You'll partner closely with People leadership, IT/Security, Executive Business Partners and regional workplace coordinators and office committee leaders as you work to create a creative, supportive and safe working environment across Strava, while staying hands-on with the day-to-day operations of our San Francisco office, which you'll continue to oversee directly.

This position is on-site in our San Francisco office, five days per week.

What You'll Do

Own and evolve Strava's global Workplace playbook, standardizing processes, procedures, and security/visitor protocols across all 9+ office locations

Manage and grow a team of workplace professionals (currently 3 FTE + 1 contractor) across multiple US offices, providing clear delegation, coaching, and support

Own the annual global employee experience workplace budget, including landlord relationships and vendor negotiations

Partner with People leadership, IT/Security, and Legal to ensure consistent security and compliance practices across all offices

Lead day-to-day workplace operations for Strava's San Francisco office (7 floors), including onsite events, space planning, and workplace systems

Collaborate with workplace coordinators in each office location to implement best practices and maintain consistency globally

Build scalable systems and processes that support Strava's continued global office expansion

What You'll Bring to the Team

7+ years of experience in workplace, facilities, or real estate operations, with progressive responsibility

Proven experience managing people, ideally leading distributed or remote teams

Experience owning workplace or facilities operations across multiple sites or offices

Experience managing a budget of meaningful scale ($10M+), including vendor and contract negotiation

Experience with international real estate or lease management is a plus

Background scaling workplace operations at a fast-growing or expanding company is a plus

Familiarity with workplace technology and systems (badge access, space management platforms) is a plus
