Requirements

Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for Statista's core platform capabilities, aligning technical investments with company-wide product and business goals

Translate complex platform challenges into clear, prioritized requirements and work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions across areas such as data infrastructure, APIs, and internal tooling

Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to accelerate platform development, improve developer experience, and unlock new capabilities for product teams

Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on platform priorities, trade-offs, and delivery timelines

Evaluate and shape integration strategies for emerging technologies, including AI/ML services, MCP protocols, and data pipeline architectures

Continuously assess platform performance, scalability, and reliability, driving improvements through data-informed decision-making and close collaboration with engineering leadership

Responsabilities

7+ years of experience in the tech industry with a strong understanding of product and engineering workflows, team dynamics, and modern software development practices

At least 2 years of recent, hands-on experience in a heavily technical product domain such as platform engineering, data infrastructure, AI/ML, or API development

Proven background in platform or technical product management; experience in data platforms or data engineering is a strong plus

You actively integrate AI into your daily workflows and are continuously refining and expanding how you use AI-powered tools to increase your effectiveness

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between deeply technical concepts and strategic business language

Strong analytical mindset with a structured approach to prioritization, problem-solving, and stakeholder alignment

You thrive in cross-functional environments and are comfortable navigating ambiguity, legacy systems, and evolving technical landscapes
