About the Role

MongoDB is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Senior Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Revenue and Order to Cash (OTC) capabilities that enable accurate, scalable, and efficient revenue operations.

This role will work closely with the Group Product Manager, Quote to Cash (QTC), owning the OTC and revenue processes within the broader QTC organization, while partnering across Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales, Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, and Program Management to improve the end-to-end order-to-cash lifecycle — order management through billing, collections, revenue recognition, and close — and help the business scale with reliable, increasingly automated revenue systems.

You will own product discovery, prioritization, requirements, delivery partnership, and launch readiness across the OTC and revenue lifecycle — including order management, subscription and contract operations, billing, accounts receivable, collections, renewals, revenue recognition, month-end and quarter-end close, and ERP integrations. The central focus of this role is revenue accuracy and timeliness: reducing manual adjustments, strengthening SOX and audit controls, accelerating time to invoice and cash, and building a foundation for continuous process improvement across the revenue lifecycle.

What You'll Do

Define and maintain the Revenue/OTC product vision, strategy, roadmap, and release priorities in alignment with company objectives, with revenue accuracy and close efficiency as the north star

Partner closely with the Group Product Manager, QTC to align the OTC and revenue roadmap with the broader Quote to Cash strategy, while owning the order-to-cash and revenue processes as your dedicated area of focus

Build deep expertise in NetSuite and the surrounding revenue systems landscape, including billing, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, month-end and quarter-end close, order management, contract and subscription data, ERP integrations, and related Finance and GTM systems

Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements across the OTC lifecycle; translate them into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and an actionable product backlog

Lead prioritization across competing Finance, Revenue Operations, and Sales needs, balancing near-term business value with long-term scalability and architectural health of revenue systems

Partner with Stakeholders, Lead PdM, Engineering, Architecture, TPM/Program Management, and implementation partners to evaluate and integrate strategic first- and third-party solutions for OTC and revenue processes

Define success metrics and KPIs for Revenue/OTC initiatives — such as billing accuracy, days sales outstanding (DSO), manual journal entry volume, and close cycle time — using data and stakeholder feedback to validate assumptions and measure post-launch outcomes

Own and improve end-to-end revenue workflows across order capture, billing, accounts receivable, collections, renewals, revenue recognition, month-end/quarter-end close, and reporting, including support for subscription and consumption-based business models

Provide product oversight for revenue controls, data definitions, business logic, integrations, and the overall consistency of the user experience across OTC systems

Coordinate integrated, cross-functional testing and partner with technology and business leads on release strategy, change management, training, and adoption for revenue system changes

Identify opportunities to improve revenue accuracy, accelerate time to invoice and cash, reduce billing leakage and manual journal entries, strengthen auditability and SOX compliance, simplify close processes, and maximize the return on investment of Revenue/OTC products

Communicate product decisions, tradeoffs, risks, dependencies, and progress clearly to stakeholders and executive audiences, with particular fluency in revenue and close-related metrics

What We're Looking For

Required Experience and Skills

8+ years of relevant product management experience, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise business systems and influencing stakeholders at all levels

Strong experience with Order to Cash (OTC), Quote to Cash, or adjacent revenue and finance processes, with a clear emphasis on the order-to-cash and revenue recognition side of the lifecycle

Hands-on understanding of NetSuite-based billing and revenue operations, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, collections, month-end and quarter-end close, order management, subscription and contract data, and ERP or downstream revenue integrations

Strong NetSuite product and integration experience, with a solid understanding of Finance operations, revenue accounting, billing controls, SOX/audit requirements, and the upstream GTM processes that drive downstream revenue outcomes

Experience working with Agile/Scrum delivery teams as a Product Owner or equivalent product leader

Strong data analysis and metrics skills, including the ability to define revenue and close-related KPIs (e.g., DSO, billing accuracy, close cycle time) and use quantitative and qualitative inputs to drive prioritization

Experience managing complex integrations, data models, business rules, and dependencies across enterprise revenue platforms

Demonstrated success collaborating across Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales, Engineering, Architecture, and other cross-functional teams

Experience with consumption-based, subscription, or other complex commercial business models is a plus

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree is a plus

Personal Attributes

Strategic thinker who can connect revenue systems decisions to business and financial outcomes

Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and dependencies across the OTC lifecycle

Strong communicator who can make complex technical, financial, and operational topics clear to varied audiences

Effective decision-maker and problem solver who brings structure to ambiguity, especially around revenue controls and close processes

Self-motivated, adaptable, collaborative, and able to influence without direct authority

Customer- and stakeholder-focused, with a strong bias toward measurable revenue outcomes and continuous improvement

Why This Role Matters

Order to Cash is a critical business capability connecting commercial execution to accurate billing, cash collection, revenue recognition, and financial reporting. In this role, you will help make the revenue lifecycle a scalable business enabler by improving revenue integrity, strengthening NetSuite and related system foundations, accelerating cash realization, tightening SOX and audit controls, and reducing operational effort and risk across the OTC and close process.
