What the posting says

Teamwork makes the stream work.

Roku is changing how the world watches TV

Roku is the #1 TV streaming platform in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, and we've set our sights on powering every television in the world. Roku pioneered streaming to the TV. Our mission is to be the TV streaming platform that connects the entire TV ecosystem. We connect consumers to the content they love, enable content publishers to build and monetize large audiences, and provide advertisers unique capabilities to engage consumers.

From your first day at Roku, you'll make a valuable - and valued - contribution. We're a fast-growing public company where no one is a bystander. We offer you the opportunity to delight millions of TV streamers around the world while gaining meaningful experience across a variety of disciplines.

What does the team work on?

The Roku TV Devices Product Management team owns the product experience for every TV that runs Roku OS: Roku-branded TVs sold at retail, and Roku TVs manufactured and branded by leading global TV partners. We work to deliver a great Roku TV experience to every customer, no matter which brand built the hardware they bought.

What is the role?

As Senior Product Manager for 3rd Party Roku TV, you will own product management for Roku TV programs delivered through third-party OEM partners, serving as the critical bridge between engineering and the business development team. You will shape the product experience that customers see and interact with on Roku TVs manufactured by leading global partners, driving Roku OS expansion across international markets. This role spans the full product lifecycle from definition and partner alignment through engineering execution, launch, and post-launch operations, with a strategic focus at the intersection of software and hardware. You will define and drive product roadmaps, collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, business development, and partner products, and translate partner needs into actionable product requirements. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in partnership management and B2B product strategy, with the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder programs in a fast-paced environment. This is a high-impact role with significant visibility, directly contributing to Roku's global account acquisition and business growth through OEM partnerships.

For California Only - The estimated annual base salary for this position is between $270,000 - $300,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

How will I use AI at Roku?

At Roku, we don't just use AI; we work with it. AI agents and smart tools help power drafts, analysis, and repetitive workflows, while our people bring direction, judgment, and accountability.

We value curious, adaptable builders who can show how they've used AI, agents, or automation to move faster, improve quality, and scale their impact. Strong candidates know how to frame problems, guide AI-assisted work, check the output, and learn quickly. Above all, they bring curiosity, adaptability, and sound judgment.

What are the responsibilities of the role?

Define and own product roadmaps for 3rd Party Roku TV programs, leading feature prioritization, scope, and timing across hardware and software

Author PRDs, feature specifications, and program-level requirements for active Roku TV partner programs

Serve as the product interface between engineering teams and the third-party business development organization, translating business needs into clear technical requirements

Drive cross-platform feature scaling, defining how features ship across the broader Roku TV partner portfolio

Shape the roadmap for partner-facing tooling, from collaboration platforms to manufacturing operations

Collaborate with Roku's TV business development and Partner Products teams to support the broader Roku TV ecosystem strategy

Coordinate launch readiness across engineering, go-to-market, operations, certification, and communications for each program in the portfolio

Track program risks, develop mitigations, and represent program status to Roku leadership on a regular cadence

Stay informed on emerging TV technologies including panels, SoCs, audio, picture processing, and on-device AI/ML that will shape the industry's future

Advocate for the customer experience in every conversation, ensuring every Roku TV customer receives a great experience regardless of which brand built the hardware

What experience would help someone be successful in this role at Roku?

5+ years of experience in a senior product management role, ideally working on high-volume consumer electronics or technology platforms

Strong partnership management and B2B product experience, including work with OEM partners, semiconductor companies, or similar technology industries

Experience leading cross-functional, multi-workstream programs spanning hardware and software

Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and drive alignment across engineering, business development, and external partners

Experience shipping products through the full lifecycle including engineering execution, factory build, and market launch

Knowledge of the TV or consumer electronics industry including panel, SoC, audio, picture quality, or certification processes

What should I know about Roku's culture?

Roku is a great place for people who want to work in a fast-paced environment where everyone is focused on the company's success rather than their own. We try to surround ourselves with people who are great at their jobs, who are easy to work with, and who keep their egos in check. We appreciate a sense of humor. We believe a fewer number of very talented folks can do more for less cost than a larger number of less talented teams. We're independent thinkers with big ideas who act boldly, move fast and accomplish extraordinary things through collaboration and trust. In short, at Roku you'll be part of a company that's changing how the world watches TV.

We have a unique culture that we are proud of. We think of ourselves primarily as problem-solvers, which itself is a two-part idea. We come up with the solution, but the solution isn't real until it is built and delivered to the customer. That penchant for action gives us a pragmatic approach to innovation, one that has served us well since 2002.
