Position Overview

Autodesk is in the midst of a significant back-office transformation and we need a motivated individual to assist in this change for Revenue Accounting! As the Senior Revenue Analyst for this project, you will collaborate closely with your manager, Revenue Accounting, the Controllership, System Integrators, Project Managers, Developers, and other key stakeholders in the Company. You will provide guidance to the project team, assist in UAT initiatives, and eventually roll out the exciting system and process changes to the entire Organization.

Responsibilities

Attend meetings to discuss and document project requirements as they pertain to U.S. GAAP, with a focus on Revenue Recognition

Work closely with your manager to understand operational capabilities and feasibilities of proposals presented

Perform UAT as well as track and resolve any issues discovered during UAT

Implement and document processes and procedures as required including SOX compliance and internal controls

Evaluate accounting implications and confirm we can operationally support operational changes under the provisions of ASC 606

Provide accounting guidance to project team and developers

Support broader team in training efforts and overall transition to the new business models and system flows

Working hours based on PST time zone

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience

3+ years of relevant work experience

Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity

Effective communication skills and ability to understand and present data

Ability to work effectively in a team environment across all organizations as well as independently

Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognition

Preferred Qualifications

CPA certification or equivalent practical experience

Experience working with RAR, SAP, and/or Business Objects or other relevant systems

Proficiency in Excel

Experience in software or SaaS industry

Excellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills

Enthusiastic and creative with the ability to inspire, influence and encourage others, in both relationships with customers and peers

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $76,000 and $135,520. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $69,700 and $102,245. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
