Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Administrator to play a critical role in enabling our sales and service organizations through effective, well-designed use of the Salesforce platform. This role goes well beyond ticket fulfillment: it focuses on how Salesforce is actually used to support customer-facing operations, and it takes ownership of the platform's day-to-day health, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, adoption, and data quality.

The Senior Administrator partners with business stakeholders, Business Process Analyst, and Sales Force Architect to ensure standards set by the Salesforce Architect, are leveraged appropriately, consistently, and in alignment with platform best practices. This role is ideal for an administrator who understands both the technical mechanics of Salesforce and the real-world workflows of sales and service teams, and who is motivated by improving outcomes through the platform. This is a senior, proactive role, a partner to the business, not a reactive support desk.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Enablement & Business Support

Partner with sales and service teams to understand day-to-day workflows and how Salesforce is used to support customer engagement.

Identify opportunities to improve platform usability, efficiency, and adoption based on observed usage patterns and user feedback.

Translate business requirements into well-designed Salesforce configurations that enhance productivity without unnecessary customization.

Serve as a trusted point of contact for Salesforce-related questions, guidance, and continuous improvement ideas.

Salesforce Administration & Configuration

Administer and configure Salesforce features including:

Objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and validation rules

Flows and other declarative automation

Reports and dashboards to support operational visibility

Maintain and enforce data quality standards, including data validation, cleanup, and lifecycle management.

Support user access management, including profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchy.

Collaboration with Architecture & Governance

Work with Salesforce Architect on any refactoring and simplifying existing configuration to reduce complexity and technical debt, in line with architectural established standards and architectural direction.

Participate in reviews of proposed changes to ensure scalability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.

Help reinforce governance guardrails and prevent the introduction of technical debt.

Support Operations & Adoption

•Partner with Salesforce Delivery Lead to support ticket queue, including but not limited to:

◦Ticket triage, root cause documentation, and resolve requests against agreed response expectations

•As-Needed: Onboard new users, deliver training, and support change-management initiatives

•Provide occasional training and upskilling across the organization as needed, building user competence and self-sufficiency on the platform

Testing, Deployment & Documentation

Support end-of-the-end testing of new features and enhancements prior to deployment

Assist with sandbox management and deployment coordination

Create and maintain clear documentation for configurations, processes, and user guidance

Continuous Improvement & Adoption

Monitor platform usage and adoption trends to proactively recommend improvements.

Help onboard new users and support change management initiatives.

Contribute to ongoing refinement of Salesforce processes as business needs evolve.

Required Qualifications

6–10+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.

Strong expertise in Salesforce configuration and declarative automation (Flows).

Experience supporting sales and/or service organizations in a production Salesforce environment.

Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and reporting capabilities.

Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective platform solutions.

Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce certifications such as:

Salesforce Certified Administrator

Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator

Experience working alongside Salesforce architects or development teams.

Exposure to integrations, APIs, or external system coordination.

Exposure to Data Cloud

·Experience administering managed packages / AppExchange apps and coordinating with integrated external systems.

Experience supporting organizations with complex or evolving Salesforce usage
