5+ years experience as a backend or software engineer

Proficient with at least one programming language among Rust, Swift and Go

Strong experience designing, implementing and operating complex HTTP and WebSocket services at scale

Strong experience with concurrent programming

Ability to communicate efficiently and articulate concepts based on the audience

Responsibilities:

Design and code backend services and iOS camera application capabilities that support the Vision platform across sport venues worldwide

Design and code end-to-end processes enabling operational staff to autonomously deploy, monitor and diagnose video capture devices and services

Take ownership of long-term technical efforts and articulate design choices to technical and non-technical people

Collaborate closely with teammates to solve problems, share knowledge and provide actionable feedback

Participate in an on-call rotation that emphasizes eliminating repeating escalations

Visit our wonderful Lausanne Jordils office 4 times per week, with flexible hours

As we deliver real-time player tracking, sport analytics and broadcast augmentation to customers worldwide, we are looking to increase our capabilities for capturing video and running computer vision algorithms at the edge. This role focuses on the Vision platform, which consists of an iOS application running on iPhone-based cameras in sport venues, and the backend web services that support this fleet.

The base salary range for this role is CHF 140,000 - CHF 155,000. There are a number of factors which affect what the specific pay for this role is, including seniority and relevant educational and working experience.
