Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d)

Salary: 45.000 - 65.000 € per year

Requirements:

Several years of professional experience as a backend or backend-focused full stack developer

Hands-on experience working with LLM agents in real projects, ideally in production

Solid understanding of agent concepts such as tool calling, multi-step workflows, and the practical limits of LLMs

Strong skills in at least one modern backend language

Solid experience with relational databases and data modeling

Experience designing and building clean, well-documented APIs

Good understanding of testing strategies, version control, and CI/CD workflows

Working knowledge of web frontend development

Independent, structured, and responsible working style

Fluent in English

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models that power our products

Integrate LLM-based agents into our products and workflows, including orchestration, tool use, and structured outputs

Make agent-driven features reliable in production, with attention to error handling, latency, cost, and monitoring

Use AI agents effectively in day-to-day development to speed up and improve engineering work

Contribute to frontend work where needed to deliver complete features

Drive architecture and technology decisions, especially around backend design and AI features

Mentor colleagues and help establish good engineering practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation

Work closely with product, frontend, and DevOps to ship features that solve real problems
