Senior SRE / DevOps: Infrastructure Transformation (m/f/d)

Salary: 42.000 - 73.000 € per year

Requirements:

Good German language skills at a minimum B2 level, both written and spoken

At least 5 years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Software Development, with a focus on Automation & Configuration Management

Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration Management (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)

Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)

Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)

Knowledge of container technologies and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Good programming and scripting skills (Python, Bash)

Problem-solving mindset and strong teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions and automate recurring operational tasks, deployments, scaling, troubleshooting, and CI/CD pipelines

Migrate traditional Linux servers to Kubernetes environments, support software development teams in using Kubernetes, and automate network components in the on-premise data center

Develop and implement a secret management system, integrate critical IT infrastructure components, and provide secure access to credentials for applications and users

Implement automated recovery mechanisms, develop proactive monitoring solutions, and use event-driven automation to respond autonomously to anomalies

Automate scaling of cloud and on-premise systems, ensure security compliance through Compliance-as-Code, and optimize resources through automated capacity planning

Develop runbooks and playbooks for automated incident management, use AIOps for log and metric analysis, and collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve issues faster
