Senior/Staff Software Engineer (m/w/d)

Salary: 28.000 - 68.000 € per year

Requirements:

You hold a university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Ideally, you have already gained professional experience in C++ software development, including experience with Qt, preferably within a regulated industry. However, ambitious new graduates with a strong drive to learn and grow are also encouraged to apply.

You have gained exposure to modern development tools and practices, including Visual Studio, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and issue tracking systems.

Initial experience across the full software development life cycle, including requirements definition, design, implementation, and verification & validation (V&V), is a plus.

You are a proactive, self-driven, and reliable team player who thrives both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

You communicate clearly and effectively and enjoy collaborating in an international, cross-functional environment.

Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is considered a plus.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain software solutions (C++ Windows desktop applications) in accordance with project requirements, established architecture, and quality standards.

Contribute to design, technical, and process improvements.

Support the maintenance and enhancement of the existing software platform.

Create and maintain clear technical documentation and follow established development processes to support effective project execution and team collaboration.

Work closely with senior engineers and technical leads to implement features, solve technical challenges, and contribute to architectural discussions.

Collaborate effectively within international and cross-functional teams and work closely with colleagues across adjacent products and projects.
