Requirements:
Completed apprenticeship or university degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical hands-on experience, with several years of experience in EDI, E-Invoicing, or B2B/system integration environments
Strong knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., EDIFACT, XML, ANSI X12, VDA), communication protocols (e.g., AS2, OFTP2, SFTP, HTTPS, APIs, Webservices), and ERP/B2B integration systems (e.g., SAP IDoc, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
Good understanding of E-Invoicing frameworks (e.g., Peppol, ZUGFeRD, XRechnung, FatturaPA or similar) and related regulatory requirements
Strong analytical, structured, and detail-oriented working style combined with high customer orientation, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in parallel
Proactive, solution-oriented, and hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently, take ownership, and continuously develop expertise in EDI, E-Invoicing, and integration technologies
Very good English skills (spoken and written); good German skills required for the Erfurt location; additional languages such as French, Spanish, or Italian are a plus
Responsibilities:
Acting as the main technical contact for customers across incidents, service requests, and change requests, ensuring stable and efficient operations
Managing and supporting EDI and E-Invoicing integrations, including configuration, maintenance of mappings, workflows, and partner connections
Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving integration issues while performing root cause analysis and ensuring sustainable fixes
Supporting onboarding of new business partners, including setup, testing, and validation of message flows across EDI and E-Invoicing processes
Working with EDI standards and protocols (e.g., EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, SAP IDoc, VDA, AS2, OFTP2, APIs) and E-Invoicing frameworks (e.g., Peppol, ZUGFeRD/XRechnung, FatturaPA)
Monitoring production environments and driving improvements in stability, performance, automation, and operational efficiency
Collaborating closely with internal teams (Product, Development, Infrastructure, Project Management) and ensuring proper documentation and knowledge sharing
