The Team

The Partner Strategy & Operations team supports Databricks' robust ecosystem of Cloud, SI and ISV, working with the Databricks Partnerships team. Our team is laser focused on driving operational scale in an extremely high-growth environment. We empower our stakeholders and senior leadership with the insights, tools and decision criteria to inform proactive, effective, and data-driven programmatic strategies.

The Role

You will be in a critical and visible position, playing a key role in scaling the Partnerships team's strategy. In this role, you will combine analytical insight, strong business acumen, and robust cross-functional partnerships with leaders across the company while partnering with our Partnerships VP to set a strategy and medium/long term goals for the business. You will then lead the execution of many of these initiatives, building scalable processes, building consensus, and supporting all of it with proactive data-driven insights and analysis along the way. You will work with our Partnerships, Sales, Product, Finance, Data, Legal, Commercial, and other GTM teams. You will report to the Director of Partner Strategy and Operations.

The impact you will have:

Serve as a strategic business partner to one or more Partner VPs

Lead executive analyses, strategies, and deliverables (e.g., board materials, QBR)

Define and manage high impact x-functional programs end to end

Own the operating cadence and provide performance visibility against targets

Inform and enhance partner strategy and programs with voice of the field and quantitative analysis

Generate deep dives into performance trends with action-oriented outcomes

Guide annual GTM planning process (FY and long-range modeling, KPI setting, HC planning)

What we look for:

Relevant experience: 7+ years of strategy & operations experience (eg. Enterprise SaaS experience, top tier strategy consulting, investment banking, business operations)

Business Ownership: Leadership and confidence to support VP-level GTM stakeholders like you own the business

Relentless problem solving: Ability and passion to analyze, set priorities, and solve complex problems, digging deeper to find root causes; unafraid to ask questions

AI and technical fluency: Leverages cutting edge AI and data tools for analysis, problem solving, data visualization, and automation; continually learning and expanding skillset; familiarity with common GTM tech stack and tools (Databricks, SFDC, Tableau, SQL, etc)

Comfort with ambiguity: Our partner organization and ecosystem is rapidly expanding in scope and complexity, things won’t always be clean or easy. But you embrace that challenge and are excited to build for scale

Understanding of a partner-ecosystem, GTM, or sales/partner operating model, and the judgment to evaluate tradeoffs within it
