Role Overview
This role supports the company’s IT and cybersecurity operations in collaboration with the Engineering & IT Lead responsible for cybersecurity compliance (ISO 27001 alignment), device lifecycle management, automated provisioninginfrastructureand centralized security platforms.
We are looking for a skilled System Administrator with 2–5 years of experience to manage, maintain, and support IT infrastructure for an Australian client. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of servers, networks, and systems while maintaining excellent communication with international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and software.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
Perform regular backups, recovery, and disaster recovery tests.
Implement security measures, patch updates, and antivirus solutions.
Monitor logs, alerts, and system health; respond to incidents promptly.
Support end-users with system-related issues.
Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and processes.
Collaborate with the Australian client and internal IT team, providing timely updates and clear communication.
Requirements
2–5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux/Unix, and Active Directory.
Experience with network administration, firewalls, and security protocols.
Excellent English communication skills; must be comfortable interacting with an Australian client.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
