Tasks
You will manage interior fit-out projects with a hotel-like character (including FF&E) holistically – from kick-off to successful handover.
You will be responsible for budget, schedule, and quality targets for project volumes of approximately €0.8–3.0 million per project.
You will develop project, logistics, and assembly concepts and implement them in a structured manner.
In close coordination with purchasing, you will manage the tendering and contracting process – including a clearly defined scope of services, comparability of bids, and thorough documentation.
You will manage schedules and costs based on a reliable forecast (target/actual comparison, risk management, milestones) and initiate targeted countermeasures in case of deviations.
Together with the construction management team and internal departments, you will coordinate the participating trades and ensure clear interfaces and a smooth project flow.
You manage changes and amendments in a structured and transparent manner – including assessing the impact on costs and deadlines and preparing sound decision-making information.
You ensure reliable and professional customer communication throughout all project phases – from status reports and decision-making processes to final acceptance.
You identify optimization potential in processes, standards, and their series production and implement it sustainably.
You work with clear templates, regular control routines, accurate forecasts, and early risk detection.
You utilize their project database tools for transparency, documentation, and traceability.
You work with project management software and drive automation to ensure seamless data flow between teams and projects.
Requirements
At least 5 years of leadership experience managing project teams (5–10 people)
In-depth expertise in hotel construction or comparable large-scale interior fit-out projects
Proven track record of success in managing complex construction or fit-out projects
Confident demeanor at both client and management levels
Excellent understanding of process optimization and cost control
Willingness to explore creative and unconventional approaches
Completed vocational training or university degree in interior design, wood technology, civil engineering, or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in project management for commercial fit-outs (e.g., hotel, hospitality, retail, or exhibition stand construction)
Experience managing multiple trades and complex usage concepts
Strong cost and quality awareness, as well as the ability to reliably generate accurate forecasts
Structured and meticulous work ethic with thorough documentation, adherence to clear standards, and the ability to maintain composure under tight deadlines
Confident and professional demeanor towards clients and project stakeholders with clear, solution-oriented communication
Proficient use of Excel and ERP systems
Knowledge of VOB and works contract law (advantageous)
Native-level German
