Tech Lead Front End | Offshore | Columbia

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality email templates and web UI components.

Establish and enforce front-end development standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks.

Ensure pixel-perfect, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible UIs and emails.

Review code, conduct performance audits, and resolve complex UI and rendering issues across varied email clients (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, etc.).

Collaborate with stakeholders (marketing, design, product) to plan and prioritize front-end and email initiatives.

Mentor and coach frontend developers, fostering a culture of code quality and continuous improvement.

Oversee the integration of email templates with marketing platforms (e.g., Zeta, Braize, Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).

Stay current on front-end trends, tools, and frameworks, especially in the email development ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in frontend development, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior developer role.

Deep expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.

Ability to mentor and coach other developers to achieve better quality and velocity

Advanced knowledge of responsive email development, including inline CSS, table-based layouts.

Deep understanding of email client limitations and how to work around them (e.g., inline CSS, table-based layouts, etc.).

Demonstrated experience ensuring cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.

Familiarity with front-end tooling (e.g., Webpack, Gulp), version control (Git), and CI/CD processes.

Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration abilities.
