Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About The Team

The Global Technical enablement team helps Stripe’s user-facing technical teams, partners, and users learn how to build on Stripe and demonstrate their skills. Our stripe.training site complements Stripe’s documentation with structured learning paths, hands-on practice, and technical certifications. We develop applied learning experiences that help people understand Stripe’s products and use them effectively.

What you’ll do

You’ll develop technical learning content that helps developers, product managers, and other users understand and use Stripe’s products, application programming interfaces (APIs), and platform. Working with product managers, engineers, and user experience designers, you’ll turn complex technical concepts into practical, accessible learning experiences.

You’ll contribute across the content lifecycle, from gathering requirements and designing curriculum to developing assessments, gathering learner feedback, and updating materials as products evolve.

Responsibilities

Design and develop curriculum and instructional materials for Stripe's products and use cases, applying instructional design principles and relevant industry standards

Partner with product managers, engineers, and user experience designers to identify learning needs and validate technical content

Create e-learning modules, tutorials, documentation, videos, and interactive demonstrations for different audiences

Develop assessments that measure learner comprehension and progress

Use learner feedback, assessment results, and training data to evaluate effectiveness and improve content

Lead training sessions and workshops for content ahead of general availability, gathering feedback to refine the materials

Maintain accurate, relevant training materials as Stripe’s products evolve, incorporating applicable developments in technology and instructional design

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum qualifications to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum Requirements

3+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or technical training

Experience translating complex technical concepts into written, multimedia, or interactive learning materials for different audiences

Experience developing digital learning content using authoring, learning management, and multimedia tools

Experience using learning feedback and training data to evaluate and improve learning materials

Experience managing multiple content projects and deadlines while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Stripe’s products, APIs, or platform

Experience in financial technology, payment processing, or e-commerce

Experience with Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable tools

Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, or software development processes

Experience applying agile instructional design methods, user experience design, or learner-centered design principles

Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, computer science, or a related field, or a relevant instructional design or e-learning certification

Quality

Completeness: 65%

Not enough history yet to judge honesty signals.
